Contact Lens Optician Jobs

A Contact Lens Optician will specifically manage contact lens patients. Working from the prescription from the Optometrist, the Contact Lens optician is responsible for carrying out high quality contact lens assessments and aftercare. 

Similar to the role of Dispensing optician the Contact lens Optician must have excellent communication skills as they must build a good rapport and trust with their patients. Typically the CLO will also perform normal dispensing duties within the practice alongside their contact lens responsibilities. 

A contact Lens Optician will typically work in a high street multiple or independent practice.
