Optometry, Optometrist vacancies and Optometrist jobs in East London. Zest Optical are seeking to recruit a full time Optometrist for a small family run chain of Opticians based in East London and Essex.

A full time Optometrist is required to join a family run opticians based in East London. This small chain of independent practices offers a comprehensive eye testing service and prides themselves on the friendly and professional level of service that they provide.

This position would suit a newly qualified Optometrist and the client is looking for a hands on Optometrist who understands the need to balance high clinical standards with commercial awareness. You must be comfortable with contact lens work and be willing to get involved on the shop floor with dispensing and customer care etc.

The practice uses the latest testing equipment to aid you in providing the best service possible.

The salary on offer is between £35,000 to £40,000 and you will be required to work 5 days a week INCLUDING Saturdays. Working hours are 9-6 with some late night openings required as well.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified Optometrist to join a family run independent which will enable you to develop your clinical and commercial skills. The client has also indicated that there may be management opportunities in the future as well.
