Optometry, Optical vacancies and Optometrist jobs in Colchester. Zest Optical are recruitment are seeking to recruit a full time Optometrist for a small chain of independent practices based in Colchester.

The role is to work between two practices based in North Essex, where you will be the sole Optometrist testing to 30 minutes. Both practices are well equipped with a modern testing environment and a well-established patient base.

The client is looking for an experienced Optometrist who would feel confident working independently, although you will be fully supported by a qualified Dispensing Optician and receptionist.  You will conduct a thorough eye examination spending time to speak to patients about lifestyle and previous health conditions. Contact lens experience will also be beneficial.

The role is to work 5 days a week include most Saturdays (with an element of flexibility) and the working hours are 9 to 5.30.

In return for your experience and dedication to the practice you will be rewarded with an excellent salary package of between £50,000 to £60,000.
