Optometrist jobs UK and Optical vacancies nationwide. Zest optical are seeking to recruit Domiciliary Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians to join one of the Uk's leading providers of home eye care for patients who are unable to visit a high street practice.

You will travel to patient's home offering them the very best in eye care using the latest in mobile testing equipment, as well as offering them a full eye care dispensing service and aftercare.

This role would ideally suit a candidate who is looking to work in a new environment, and enjoys travelling to different locations. As an Optometrist or Dispensing Optician you must provide an outstanding clinical service as well as providing the high levels of customer service to the patients. Domiciliary eye care is not just about visiting patients in care homes, it is about giving people who may not be able to leave the house a chance to receive proper eye care.

You can choose to work 3,4 or 5 days a week, with no weekends! Generally in a day you will visit up to 7 patients in their home, with the appointment being scheduled within a 50 mile radius of your home.

The salary is often a lot more competitive that high street opticians and the excellent bonus scheme offered further boosts this. A company car, mobile, laptop and tablet PC are often provided to help you organise your appointments efficiently.
